Wainui Reserve Bush Park

Wainui Reserve Bush Park

An easy walk is suitable for children and persons with mobility issues. Follow the fence line as it takes you gently uphill through a memorial garden. Emerging at a junction aide track across private farmland offer beach access, or continue on the loop toward the Kahikatea walk towards the highlight of the reserve, a large Kihikitea tree taking centre stage near a flat picnic area alive with the sound of Tui and Piwakawaka (fantail).

Getting there:

Follow Wainui Rd out of Raglan for 5 minutes. Wainui Reserve Park is located halfway between Raglan and Bryant Memorial Reserve, home to Ngarunui and Water Race walks.
