Rewanui Forest Park

Rewanui Forest Park is a native bush reserve purchased and protected by the Montfort Trimble Foundation.

Due to the weather, our visit took us around the exotics loop, a mixture of farmland and recent plantings with intermittent views out towards Castle Point. This track showcased the work the foundation is putting into regenerative practices.

The Exotics loop is an easy walk suitable for families and takes approx 90 minutes.

Next time we’re in the Wairarapa, we will explore some more and update the bio.
