Marokopa Falls

Easily accessible and picturesque, Marokopa falls are a must-visit while exploring the natural wonders of the Waitomo district. After a short 10-minute walk down a well-graded path bordered by Nikau and Tawa, you will find yourself at the viewing platform of the 35-metre falls.

At the time of our visit, the viewing platform was closed due to storm damage. The falls are visible from the barrier. Please check the Department of Conservation website for track updates.
