Clements Clearing Campsite

This large flat campsite offers ample room to spread out and have privacy. Fires are allowed, although seasonal restrictions may apply. A small creek runs through behind the main campsite providing a non potable water source. Many large trees border the camp and the gravel access road, providing home for Kaka, Ruru and other native birds. A short walk to the Kaimanawa Wall, located approx 500m before the campsite on the right.

Getting there: From Taupo, follow the Taupo-Napier road for approx 30km, before turning into Taharua Rd. Turn right into Clements Mill Rd and follow for approx 20km.
