The Organs

Resembling the silhouette of pipe organs, the organs is an interesting rock formation on the banks of the Mohaka River. Visable from a lookout at the entrance to Everetts Campsite track.

Enjoy a unique view of a the Mohaka River as it snakes through the valley below, doubling back upon itself and forming a small island.

Although not a destination in itself, it is a worthy point of interest if taking the back road from State Highway 5 (Napier-Taupo Road) to Bell rock/Boundary Stream Scenic Reserve. This route is narrow, gravel and likely to encounter logging operations.
